A mover in a mustard shirt carrying a blanket-wrapped sofa out through the front door, with the truck waiting and the lake beyond

Home movers in Penticton, from the first box to the last bed frame.

Basement suites, lakeside condos, family houses, and the shed you’ve been avoiding since 2014. One crew carries it, wraps it and sets it down in the right room.

A half-packed kitchen with cupboard doors open, dishes stacked on the counter and moving boxes on the floor
A sofa wrapped in blankets and stretch wrap on a dolly in a sunny living room, with a rolled carpet and stacked boxes
A bagged mattress and a bed frame taken apart, leaning against a bedroom wall with the hardware taped to a rail
A garage with its door up: boxes, bikes, a lawn mower and shelves of tools, with the lake outside

How long it takes

A one-bedroom usually takes two to three hours. A three-bedroom house, four to six. Stairs, long carries and how ready you are all change that, and Jeremy will give you an honest estimate before you book.

We work fast because you’re paying by the hour, and we’d like you to call us again.

Keeping your bill down

Since you pay for our time, every minute we don’t spend waiting is money you keep. The things that help most:

  • Have boxes taped and stacked near the door
  • Empty the dresser drawers
  • Bundle anything loose: brooms, lamps, curtain rods, garden tools
  • Book the elevator, and tell us if there isn’t one
  • Clear a parking spot for the truck, at both ends

Do you supply blankets and wrap?

Yes. Furniture blankets, stretch wrap, straps and dollies come on every truck at no extra charge.

In the bedroom

Do you take furniture apart and put it back together?

Yes. Bed frames, tables and anything that won’t make the turn in the stairwell. It’s part of the job, and the tools are on the truck.

In the garage

What won’t you move?

Propane tanks, gasoline, paint thinner and other hazardous goods, plus anything you can’t replace that’s small enough to carry yourself, like medications, passports and jewellery. Keep those with you.

Can you move just a few things?

Yes. A few big items is a job we do every week. There’s no need to wait until you have a full truck.

A condo hallway with the elevator padded in moving blankets, a hand truck and a stack of boxes waiting

Condos and strata buildings

Most Penticton condos want the elevator booked ahead and some charge a move-in fee, so check with your strata or property manager early. In BC that fee has to be set out in a bylaw or ratified rule, and it has to be reasonable.

Elevator out of service? We’ve carried a whole condo up three flights of stairs. It’s slower, so tell us when you call, and we’ll plan for it.

On every truck.

Moved my one bedroom apartment. Very friendly and took great care of all my things. They even helped switch my sectional into a left facing (previously right ) so it would fit in my house properly. Somehting I didn’t know I could do !! So was super grateful for the help ! Was one of the best moving experiences I have had. Would use them again and recommend in a heart beat !
