Rescued furniture and household goods at the Penticton Online Thrift Store

A lot of what we’re hired to haul away has years left in it. So instead of driving it to the landfill, we photograph it, list it and sell it.

What turns up

Stock comes out of real homes, from moves, cleanouts and estates, so it changes all the time and there’s usually only one of anything. Expect dressers, dining sets, lamps, dishes and the odd thing nobody can identify.

How buying works

There’s no shop floor to wander. Everything is listed at pentictononlinethriftstore.ca and on Facebook Marketplace. Message us about anything you like and we’ll set a time for you to see it at 2490 Government St. Viewing is by appointment.

If it won’t fit in your car, ask about delivery. Getting furniture across town is what we do all day.

If you have things to give or sell

Donations get picked up for free, within reason. A solid dresser across town is an easy yes. Broken frames and torn cushions are a junk job, and we’ll tell you so. Send a photo first and we’ll let you know which one you’ve got.

We also buy estates. If your family is clearing a house of good furniture and household goods, call before you book a cleanout or an auction, and we’ll come and see what’s there.

I highly recommend this company. I used this company both for a move and for removal. They are diligent, professional, reliable, efficient and did no damage. I also love that during the removal they rehome all possessions that are still in good shape.
